Rain and Snow, Thank you!!!!
The weather the past week has been very cooperative for our wheat crop in South Central Kansas. In the Garden Plain area we received 1.3 inches of rain, and about an hour of big snow flakes that let everyone know that Winter is here. The Wheat even with the cold weather has grown substantially, with only one night of below freezing temperatures so far. Still a little early for wheat pasture, however, a week or two of growth should be good enough to start putting cattle out ! Thanksgiving is here, best wishes to your family during this holiday season. Remember, turkey is fine for one day and one day only and make sure a beef roast is served along with it!!! Eat more beef and have a great Thanksgiving!!!
